Jesus always had time to minister to the down trodden, the social outcast, the most needy and truly advantaged. This is a ministry God has called us to provide and we have answered the call, and invite all of God's people to participate in it.

We Have a Purpose

To glorify God by serving people in need, including those being or having been released from incarceration. Proclaim the life giving Gospel of Jesus Christ. Establish Disciples of Christ from among those we serve.

Our Ministry is Focusing on:

Discipleship
Learning
Experiencing and ministering the Word of God.
Security
Shelter, food, clothing - the basic needs of life.
Family Support - for the families of incarcerated men, the incarcerated man and the extended family all suffer and need help. God's people will provide that help.
Employment Assistance - training and educational assistance.
Group Fellowship to provide worship, prayer and study of the Word of God.
Newsletter -to communicate to all concerned.

This is the picture that Jesus of Nazareth, our Christ, modeled throughout His early ministry. Knowing this, it has become the pattern of His true church, His body of believers.

With a compassionate heart, Christian City Ministries has a healthy awareness of the issues facing alienated people in our society and helps provide the tools and motivation for lasting change through Jesus Christ.

It is our desire "To glorify God by serving people in need, proclaiming the life saving gospel of Jesus Christ, and to establish disciples from among the disadvantaged people of society."

As the vision of Christian City Ministries, Inc. has unfolded, it has followed this model. Working to identify those who are alienated from society, family structure and God we then produce a loving, caring environment where these people may come to know Christ Jesus and learn how to become active healthy participants in the body that serves Him.

Reconciling lives to God allows us to become everything He designed us to be, so His will will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Being part of this reconciliation gives us a tremendous sense of purpose, fulfillment and gratification. Serving others as Christ did, glorifies our God.

We at Christian City Ministries believe that every town, village, homestead, and city should be one of Christ's. Therefore, each city should be a Christian City, and so we found our name. The Lord's work has no geographic boundary.

Christian City Ministries believes in the written Word of God and in the name of Jesus of Nazareth, who has all authority. He will restore the people who have been deceived by sin, into the righteousness of Christ Jesus. We are His servants and we expect to see Jesus break the demonic hold on those who call on His name. In the name of Jesus the people addicted to alcohol, drugs and sexual sin will be set free. They will, in turn, glorify our God by serving Him in whatever capacity He desires. The sinful desires of a corrupt nature will be replaced with Godly desires. Praise God! People who were lost and cast out will be restored to the body and Kingdom of God. They will become productive assets to our society and His church.

Our emphasis on the Person of Jesus Christ grows out of a unswerving loyalty to the authority and inerrancy of Scripture.

Our emphasis on holy living and the Holy Spirit's power for miracle producing service grows out of the clear teaching in the New Testament and the Teaching of Jesus Christ Himself.
